Purgefinal is down. Filefront links are broken. Is there any way to download purge, and is anybody still left on this website? Purge is a great game, (actually better, in my opinion, then some of the more modern games), and it would be a shame to see it die like this... Even Safwat's server is down. Any Purge players, please respond!

Ur right it is a good game although a little 2 far 2 say it's the best game ever. Not 2 many around now. Some have tried 2 keep a server up and running for those still wanting 2 play.

I know chl007 has don't alot of work in trying 2 maintain the game and has kept a server running but I think he is finding it a little hard 2 do. I've still got the game on my computer but it's a shame 2 say it but i kind of gave up trying 2 play.

Purge is dead.
i stopped hosting because nobody would play (except for some of my real world friends and a couple of guys once in a while) , chl's server is gone too.
i still have a purge copy on a cd, but i see no reason for uploading a mirror.

I Haven't seen a game like purge and may never. I kind off stop playing games period. If someone Starts up a server I would be willing to play. I would make a post about starting my own server once i get the right hardware. To newbies i think there are no server up,keys or a download link. The game has no Leader to organize anything. Chl is gone and he was one of main one's that keep things going. Dead but when you host a server it will be hard for people to get their everyone doesn't got to forums and the all seeing i thing is broke. The concept of gameplay hasn't been match yet with same ole FPS/ww2 role play and techno soldiers that they have been stuck on.

empires rise and empires fall, it's time to move on.
purge was, and still one of the best games out there. but it's dead.
here is why:

-Purge is an abandoned project
the offical guys behind purge have abandoned it, no more ads, no more awareness of the game

- the all seeing eye is gone
players must manually type in the IP, most newbies leave, thinking this is too complicated.

-Registeration keys
this is intimidating for most newbies.. they don't realise it's optional and that it's legally free.

-underground servers are gone
the last of the underground servers have shutdown back in early 2009.

-links down
the download link, keygen link, and mirriors are all gone.
