Some good news is that my ISP will allow me to host servers as long as the average upload isn't any more then half of my allotted bandwidth (And I have a very good connection, 30mbps down, ~4mbps upload), and I have an old box that I'm going to try to get running for Purge. Talked to Hap, and perhaps we can setup a server browser hard coded to my server, so we'll have a replacement for ASE.
Maybe in a few weeks, or a month or so, or whenever I have time to get everything setup and going, and when Hap has time to get the necessary coding done to facilitate these changes, we might actually have a new server browser and dedicated game server running! |
