| Announcement: the reason nobody plays purge anymore |

purge was, and still one of the best games out there. but it's dead.
here is why:

1 - Purge is an abandoned project
the offical guys behind purge have abandoned it, no more ads, no more awareness of the game
2 - the all seeing eye is gone
players must manually type in the IP, most newbies leave, thinking this is too complicated.
3 - Registeration keys
this is intimidating for most newbies.. they don't realise it's optional and that it's legally free.
4 - underground servers are gone
the last of the underground servers have shutdown back in early 2009.
5 - links down
the download link, keygen link, and mirriors are all gone.
note: this post has been made on friday,october 23, 2009.
If you're reading this from the year 2050, i'm probably dead (or very old) and the links are probably broken.
